my makeup makeover version 2.1 update instructions

Follow theses instructions to transfer saved makeovers from 'my makeup makeover' version 1.5 to version 2.1

After installing 'my makeup makeover' version 2.1 on your computer there will be two icons, one for the 1.5 version and one for the 2.1 version. The new 2.1 version will have a pink border and the old icon will not. The update disk will have to be inserted into the CD drive for the transfer of data to take place,

The saved makeover in version 1.5 will first be saved as special files that the programs can use to communicate with each other. To transfer the saved makeover first open the 1.1 version of the program and click on the 'scripts' menu located on the menu bar at the top of the page. From the scripts menu select 'export client information' from the menu. This will create the necessary files to transfer the data to the 2.1 version of the program. After running the 'export customer data. script close the 'my makeup makeover' version 1.5 program.

Open the new 'my makeup makeover' version 2.1 program on your computer, there are actually two application windows associated with this version of the software. Look for the 'simple beauté database' window and click on it to bring it to the front. Now select 'File' from the menu bar on the top of the screen and look for 'Import from MMM v1.5', click on this menu item and the transfer will begin. After the transfer completes close the Version 2.1 program on your computer.

Special note: Only the 'saved' makeovers from the 'my makeup makeover' version 1.5 program will be transferred.

After transferring the saved makeovers to access a customer record click on the 'existing makeovers' button, you should find the records that were transferred from the old version. Click on a saved makeover record and then either select 'final report' or ' edit makeover' from the menu. The program will start with the first screen 'contact information', if there are no changes click 'next' to go to the next screen.

Continue through the screens verifying that the data is correct and that there are no changes you would like to make to the makeover.

Note: the eye shape page and the lip size page will display a representative image for the eye shape and lip size that was previously selected in the old program.
